I have on this journey of trying to expand my career fo a style ambassador and influencer for quite some time now. I must say that it has gotten very frustrating at times, to not in the place that I want. I started this blog two years ago and I felt as if nothing was really happening with it. I’ve read books and tried putting in the effort needed in order to launch my career and get things off the ground. I am now learning or should I say noticing that I was not consistent enough to do what it was that I truly wanted.
I had to learn to put just as much effort into this as I was doing when I was in corporate America. I have now started to post on instagram on a consistent basis and I am now starting to see a bit of progress. It’s amazing what God can show you about yourself and how you may be the one holding yourself back. I will never be able to explain to you how much this revelation means to me. Everybody would give their advice and tell me what I should do, and I know they were coming from a good place and telling me what I needed to hear.
But, it hits different when you hear from God. I have putting in more effort and actually doing the things that I actually want to do, and I must say I am starting to see the benefits of my work. I couldn’t really seem to explain to people what it was that I was trying to accomplish, but when I did figure it out for myself, I was able to change my motive. I am very pleased with the movement of my career at this point and I just want to take you all on this journey with me.
